Hakuba Passes are on Sale
It’s that time of year again when the Hakuba resorts start releasing their early bird discount passes. It’s like Christmas in the fall for anyone looking for a great discount on any Hakuba season pass.
Japan is definitely a bargain hunters dream when it comes to lift passes. With daily lift ticket prices well below those in Australia, North America and Europe. But who doesn’t like the chance to get an even better bargain.

Tsugaike is offering a 22,000 yen discount this year for those who purchase their passes before the 30th of September. With Evergreen now located directly on the slopes, some of the best beginner and intermediate terrain in the valley and of course the DBD, Tsugaike is a do not miss for your trip. At 35,000yen this is a steal. Anyone skiing 7 or more days at Tsugaike this season will be saving themselves a bundle.
No info has been released yet for Iwatake. We expect this to come out soon, last years deadlines were September 30th for the early early bird and December 12th for the early Bird.

Happo’s season passes are on sale from August 26th to October 31st this year. Happos is the largest resort in the valley and has a ton of terrain. A great place to ski with lots to offer every level. Discounts range from 5,000yen to 10,000yen
Happo is also offering a variety of different season passes make sure to take a look below.
Goryu, Iimori and Hakuba 47 are the only resorts that are connected in the valley. With this season pass you can ski all 3 with one lift ticket. Hakuba 47 has a great park and some nice side country, always a fun time at these three resorts.
Make sure to take a look at their site for a complete list of the season passes available. Discounts range from 15,000 to 5,000 with early early bird sales ending September 30th and early bird sales ending November 30th.
Sanosaka’s season passes sales are on offer from September 1st to September 30th for early early bird and October 1st to November 30th for early bird. Be sure to take a look.
No News yet on Kashimayari. Last years Pass sales started September 30th. More to be added as soon as we know.
Hakuba Valley Pass
For those who haven’t seen our posts already, the Hakuba Valley pass is already on sale. This year for the first time they are offering an early bird discount. For anyone looking to ski 30+ days, across multiple resorts this is the pass for you!
The Epic Pass
Finally, for those jet setters who want multiple resorts on multiple continents, this pass is for you. Hakuba is a member of the Epic Pass. With your epic pass you get 5 days of unlimited skiing across the Hakuba Valley.

2019 Epic Australia Pass valid from June 2019 until May 2020
Holders of the above passes are eligible for five consecutive days of skiing/ snowboarding in the Hakuba Valley.
