Announcing the First ever Rainbow Ski Festival Japan (gay ski week).

From the 6th to the 16th of March, Rainbows will take over one of Japans largest ski resort in Hakuba.

Can’t Ski? Then there is still plenty of things to do like, Day Trips to the Wasabi farm or Saki Brewery and Snow monkeys. Activities like Snow Shoeing and Snowmobiling. Or perhaps sitting in one of the many bars enjoying a cocktail or two. There are also Japanese Cooking classes and Yoga available.

Hakuba has slopes for all levels of experience from the amazing back country were you will be elbows deep in powder to the soft gentle runs for the beginners. Group classes are also available.
There are plenty of on snow activities as well where we can have a bit of fun like, Drag races and don’t forget our Rainbow Parade down the mountain.
When it gets all to tiring you can soak in one of the many onsens that are scattered around the area.

We have lined up two amazing Accommodation partners for this event and will cater for all budgets.

9:20am = Depart Brisbane or Sydney on QF
Arrive Narita Airport, transfer onto Tokyo Station then onto the Shinkansen.
​Arrive Late at Mominoki Hotel and Welcome Drinks.

SATURDAY the 7th March
8:30am – 4pm = Skiing @ Goryu Ski Resort
​10am = Drag Race @ Escale Plaza Goryu
Not Skiing – Yoga at Panketo Lodge
​5pm – 6pm = Group Onsen – ABest Hotel

Hakuba (白馬村 Hakuba-mura) is a village located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 October 2016, the village had an estimated population of 8,789, and a population density of 46.4 persons per km². Its total area is 189.36 square kilometres (73.11 sq mi). Hakuba is an internationally renowned ski resort town in the northern Japan Alps. As the surrounding valley has an annual snow fall of over 11 meters, it is the central hub for 10 ski resorts with more than 200 runs. The village was the main event venue for 1998 Winter Olympics (Alpine, Ski Jump, Crosscountry).
